Crate Size Guide

How to measure

• Length: nose to base of tail while standing. Add 2–4 in.
• Height: floor to top of head (or ear tips) while sitting. Add 2–4 in.
• Weight: confirm it's within the manufacturer's stated limit.

General guidance

• 24" crates — dogs up to ~25 lb (e.g. small terriers)
• 30" crates — ~25–40 lb
• 36" crates — ~40–70 lb
• 42"+ crates — ~70–90 lb

These are approximations; always go by your pet's measurements. Never leave collars or tags on pets inside crates, and always supervise.
